STATEMENT

For most of my life I have been blessed to have lived in San Diego, California.  I have sailed on the ocean, lived right next to it, played in its waves. I enjoy painting the ocean’s beauty and in doing so, I hope to share the sense of peace that I find there.   

 I am drawn down to the water’s edge by a basic, almost primitive desire to be near it.  The ocean swells, then pours itself onto the shore.  My senses become filled with the hissing, roaring sound, the luminous color and salty smell, and the sheer power of the vast body of water before me.  I hope you will enjoy this visual journey along with me.
